Can I Take Perfume or Aerosols on a Plane? 2026 Limits

Updated 7 Nov 2026

Quick answer

Yes. Perfume and toiletry aerosols such as deodorant and hairspray count towards your carry-on liquids limit, usually 100 ml per container. In checked bags, toiletry aerosols are limited to 0.5 kg or 500 ml each and 2 kg or 2 L in total. Flammable non-toiletry aerosols, such as spray paint, are not allowed.
